Dr. Ron Daniels is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care, based in Birmingham, U.K. He is also Founder and Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust and sits on the Executive Board of the Global Sepsis Alliance. Ron’s expertise lies in translational medicine and leadership. He leads the team driving dissemination of the Sepsis 6 treatment pathway and is part of the team responsible for much of the policy and media engagement around sepsis in the U.K. and elsewhere, including the adoption of the 2017 Resolution on Sepsis by the WHO.

Prof. Dr. Tuğhan Utku, MD, B.Phil, is a Clinical Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, and director of ICU of Kosuyolu Hospital, Istanbul Yeditepe University School of Medicine.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Turkish Society of Intensive Care (TYBD) and has held various leadership roles, including Council Member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) and the European Society of Anesthesiology (ESAIC). Dr. Utku has authored over 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has deep expertise in critical care medicine. His recent focus areas include advanced arterial blood gas analysis, capnography, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring through the "Blood Gases Academy," which he founded. He has received multiple awards, including the Istanbul University Scientific Research Award. He is also a member of prestigious organizations like ESPEN, ESICM, and ESAIC.

Prof. Dr. Zsolt Molnar is an anesthesiologist and intensive therapist. He is Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at Semmelweis University, part time professor at the department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and visiting professor at the University of Novi Sad. He is Honorary President of the Central and Eastern European sepsis conference SepsEast, and member of the European Society of Anesthesiology and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.

His main research interests are: sepsis related hemodynamic changes, fluid therapy, markers of inflammation, extracorporeal cytokine removal in hyperinflammation, oxygen debt and perioperative intensive care. He has been a regular invited speaker on conferences all over Europe and overseas.

He serves as a reviewer for top journals in intensive care and anesthesiology and sits on the editorial boards of several international publications. He has published 229 articles, with a total impact factor of over 226, Independent citation index of 2894, g index of 50 and a Hirsch-index of 26 and he is ranked as D1 researcher in Medical Sciences in Hungary with a total score of 101%.

Dr. Mònica Magret boasts over 15 years of clinical expertise as an adjunct physician in the Intensive Care Service, a role she currently balances with her positions as Medical Subdirector and member of the Transplant Coordination group at the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona. As the creator and head of the early mobilization protocol and the PICS (Post-Intensive Care Syndrome) consultation protocol, she is also responsible for updating the protocols for invasive mechanical ventilation, non-invasive mechanical ventilation, simple weaning, and prolonged weaning. Her development and implementation of the Early Mobilization Protocol for the ventilated critical patient, utilizing a multidisciplinary team, and her establishment of an outpatient service linked to the Intensive Care Service to evaluate the sequelae of ICU patients have solidified her as a national reference.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Magret is an associate professor at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where she balances research and education.
